Nadine Eckert Obituary

Nadine M. (nee Cousineau) Eckert, 89, of Painesville, passed away Thursday, Oct. 13, 2022, at Hospice House of the Western Reserve in Cleveland. She was born July 20, 1933, in Fairbanks Township, Mich. Nadine loved flowers and enjoyed gardening. Her family though was the most important to her. She was the loving mother of Allen (JoAnn) Eckert; cherished grandmother of Bradley Eckert (Jamey Christoph); and step-sister of Rose Osterhout and Dennis Cousineau. Nadine was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Stanley "Bummer" Eckert in 2015; daughter, Tammy Eckert in 2015; parents, Stacy Cousineau and Pearl (nee Rochefort) Alexandria; siblings, Shirley Reener, Mary Hendrick and Francis Rochefort; and step-sister, Theresa Barnett. A special thanks to Hospice of the Western Reserve for the compassionate care given to Nadine is expressed by the family. Family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 1, 2022, at McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home, 6330 Center St. (Route 615, north of Route 2), in Mentor. Burial will be private.
