Ralph Blowers Obituary
He was born May 29, 1930, in Altoona, Pa., to the late Ralph F. and Margaret (Ambrose) Blowers.
Mr. Blowers was a member of Lakeside Baptist Church in Painesville Township. He attended Baptist Bible Institute and in his spare time enjoyed cooking.
Mr. Blowers retired from Addressograph-Multigraph as a punch press operator. Prior to that, he worked as a cook, a private detective and a mortgage investigator.
Mr. Blowers was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps, serving during the Korean War.
He is survived by his wife, Majel (Himebaugh); children, Irline (John) Turgelis, Suzanne Ocasio, Matthew-Fred (Judy) Blowers, Rebecca Guerro, David (Becca) Blowers, Randy (Dianna) and Brian Reed. He also leaves Majel's first husband Larry Reed; 25 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Mr. Blowers was preceded by his first wife, Vivian; and son-in-law, Evan Watkins, Irline's first husband.
The family will receive friends from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 1, 2011, at the Johnson Funeral Home, 368 Mentor Avenue (opposite Lake Erie College), Painesville.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 2, 2011, at Lakeside Baptist Church, 306 Fairport Nursery Road, Painesville Township. The Rev. Arlie Spargur, Pastor, will be officiating. Interment will take place in Riverside Cemetery in Painesville.
Memorial contributions may be made to Lakeside Baptist Church.

To the Blowers family, I am so sorry for your loss. Grandpa was a very interesting person and he will be missed. Cherish his memory. He lived a vital life to the end. God Bless you all at this time of sorrow.
