Robert Calvert Obituary
U.S. Army/Coast Guard Veteran. Served for 16 years as an East Cleveland Police Department patrolman and retired after 20 years as an executive chauffeur for General Electric.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in Robert's memory to BGMC (Boys and Girls Missionary Challenge); Emerge Counseling Services or to Plus-Or-Minus 60 Club (Denny and Marge Hazen Ministries).
Private burial at Knollwood Cemetery. Celebration of Life Service in memory of Bob will take place Thursday, September 1, 2016 at Chester Christian Center, 11815 Chillicothe Rd, Chesterland, OH 44026 at 6 p.m. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Bob at the church Thursday 5 to 6 p.m. Reception will follow immediately after the service.

Bobby as i called him since we were kids & grew up together, Bobby was my cousin as well as my friend, When he was a kid he always came to WV for the summer those were great times.i have a million memories of Bobby After he moved away & i wasn,t local i did,nt see much of him except at our family reunion, But in the last year we had been talking on the phone for over a hour, I will miss our talks i never dreamed he would be gone i had just talked to him the day before and he was doing well just tells you that we never know when our time is up. But one thing i know Bobby is with the lord he was a praying man and loved the lord and we always talked of the goodness of god he was a genuine man and he lived the life of a christen. He truly left a wonderful legacy he was a precious soul. now he is home where he put all his treasures, praise be to th lord.
