Robert Modic Obituary
Mr. Modic was born Aug. 4, 1947, in Cleveland.
Mr. Modic was an electrician and a proud member of the local I.B.E.W. 673, having served as president and business manager for many years. He was a volunteer at several polling stations in Lake County and active in his retirees group. Mr. Modic also enjoyed the outdoors, having several bird feeding stations in his yard.
Survivors include his wife of 35 years, Beth; daughter, Faith Modic of Concord Township; stepson, Aaron (Catherine) Maruna of Fayetteville, Ark.; grandson, Henry Maruna; and a sister.
Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday at Brunner Sanden Deitrick Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 8466 Mentor Ave., Mentor. Inurnment will be at Concord Township Cemetery.

Dear Beth and Faith,
Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time.
Bob was always there to lend a hand and watch over our daughter Jill.
We will miss seeing him in the yard, at the pool or at the feeders.
He was a beautiful person, and his presence will be greatly missed.

Dear Beth &I Faith,
I'm very sorry for your loss.
I had the distinct pleasure to work with Bob both in the field as an Electrcian and in the office of Local 673. Although I didn't always agree with him politically I considered him a good friend. He has left a lasting legacy with his tireless dedication to the Local Union & Credit Union and will be missed by all.
