Ronald Willner, age 85, of Willoughby Hills formerly of Willowick for 60 years, passed away peacefully on November 5, 2022, surrounded by his family. He was born in Cleveland, on April 9, 1937, to the late Kenneth and Dorothy Willner.He was a proud and loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, brother, uncle, son-in-law, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Ron dedicated over 40 years to the HVAC industry. In retirement, he enjoyed working at SweetBerry Market in Wickliffe part-time. He enjoyed going on casino bus trips and playing poker with his close friends. Above all, his great joy was spending time with his dear grandchildren.Ronald is survived by his cherished wife of 64 years, Josette Willner (nee Bucco), children Ron (Lena) Willner, Maria (Steven) Bahr, and Debi (Michael) Ganim, grandchildren Marc (Kate) Willner, Brian Znidarsic, Stephanie (Mallory) Manoni, Helaina Ganim, Sam Ganim, and Jameson Bahr, great-grandchildren Kyle, Luke, and Claire. Ronald also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, in-laws, and cousins.He was preceded in death by his siblings Robert, Evelyn, Arlene, Richard, Kenneth, parents-in-law Oliver and Helen Bucco and granddaughter Maghen.Visitation will be on Thursday, November 10, 2022, from 4 to 8pm at Monreal Funeral Home, 35400 Curtis Blvd., Eastlake.A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, November 11, 2022, at 10am at St. Noel Church, 35200 Chardon Rd, Willoughby
