Ruth R. Hills

A Celebration of Life for Ruth R. Hills, age 83, of Claridon Township, will be 11 a.m. Saturday, November 27, at Russell Funeral Service, 15670 W. High St. (Route 87), Middlefield.
Mrs. Hills passed away Saturday, Nov. 20, 2010, at Burton Health Care.
She was born Feb. 17, 1927, in Elyria, the daughter of Arthur and Leona (Wahl) Radde.
Ruth was a graduate of Middlefield High School and lived in Claridon Township since 1956. She married Robert N. Hills on Nov. 19, 1950, in Middlefield.
Mrs. Hills was a bank teller for Middlefield Banking Co. in Middlefield. Prior to the bank, she worked at Nela Park for a few years.
A member of the First United Methodist Church in Middlefield, she was very active in church functions, and while spending her winters in Florida, attended Manatee Methodist Church in Bradenton, Fla. She enjoyed arts and crafts and especially being with her friends and family. She will be missed by her friends and family.
Survivors are her son, Alan Hills of Las Vegas, Nev.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Hills, in 1994; and her parents, Arthur and Leona Radde.
Visitation will be Friday, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at Middlefield Cemetery. The Rev. Edward Peterson will officiate at services.
