Salvatore Palma Obituary
Born Oct. 6, 1941, in Pozzuoli Napoli, Italy, Mr. Palma was a resident of Madison since 1977, moving from Brooklyn, N.Y. He was a welder in the construction industry. He was a member of the Boilermaker Local 744, Italian Club in Madison and a member of the Immaculate Conception Church in Madison.
Survivors are his wife, Jean (Malan); children, Joseph Palma of Painesville, Tina L. Palma of Madison, Salvatore (Melissa) Palma of Geneva and Eugene (Jennifer) Palma of Saybrook; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; brothers, Eddie (Joann) Palma of New Jersey and Luigi (Carmella) Palma of Italy; sisters, Carmen Sessa and Elisa Avallone, both of New York, and Nancy (Thomas) Pelligrino of West Virginia; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, Aug. 19, 2013, at the Potti Funeral Home, 2726 Hubbard Road, Madison, with funeral services immediately to follow at 8 p.m.

Mt heart goes out to all of you at this time. I remember Salvatore when he first came to Brooklyn walking up and down Nostrand with Michael. He and Jean thought enough of me to make me Joseph's godmother. I have prayed for both of them each and every night. I know first hand what you are all going though and I will always be here for you. Love you all.
