William Aylward Obituary

William T. "Bill" Aylward, 63, of Willoughby and formerly of Mentor, died Thursday, Dec. 30, 2010, at Lake West Medical Center in Willoughby.
He was born June 7, 1947, in Cleveland.
He enjoyed fishing, baseball (in which he played and coached) and being with his grandchildren.
Mr. Aylward served in the U.S. Marine Corps before being honorably discharged. He devoted his life to the Lord.
Survivors include his wife of 43 years, Fran; children, William G. Aylward of Willoughby and Melanie (Brian) Long of Willowick; grandchildren, Steven, Jacob, Rebekah and William T.; sister, Donna Keith of Willoughby and brother, John Aylward of Mentor-on-the-Lake.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William G. and Dorothy Aylward.
Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Brunner Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 8466 Mentor Ave., Mentor, where friends may call 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday. Interment will be in Western Reserve Memorial Gardens in Chester Township.
