Brandon Lee Basli

Brandon Lee Basli, 20, passed away in his sleep October 30, 2016. Born to Robert J. Basli and Dawn Longhi on April 28, 1996 in Poughkeepsie, NY. He moved to Ormond Beach with his parents in 1998. He attended Tomoka Elementary, Port Orange Elementary, and David Hinson Middle School in our area, and continued on in high school in Orlando, FL. Brandon played in the Drum Corps. at Port Orange Elementary and later became a self-taught guitarist and played with local bands in Austin, TX. Brandon enjoyed music, computers, golf and sports, and had an infectious smile that could light up a room. Brandon worked at a record company in Austin, TX. Brandon is survived by his parents Robert J. Basli and Marla Basli (stepmother), Ormond Beach, and Dawn Longhi, Austin, TX, Ellie Watson (half-sister), Tampa, FL, Robert Vlasaty (half-brother) and family, Ansonia, CT, Shawn Shulenburg (step-brother) and family, Daytona Beach, FL, and numerous cousins, aunts and grandparents. He will be missed and loved by all. The family will have a private service at a later date. We will meet again. Love, dad.
