Brian (Speedy) left us suddenly on October 22, 2018. He was born and raised in DeLand, Florida, graduating from DeLand Senior High School in 1998. With a keen interest in all things "Tech", he chose a career path which led him to ITT Technical School, and later, positions with AT&T and ultimately Century Link Cable Company where he was considered an exceptional associate by management and co-workers alike. The skills, knowledge and work ethic that characterized his professional life also served him well in his personal activities and interests, such as, computer gaming and searching the heavens through his elaborate telescope, both of which he pursued with his trademark quiet intensity. But Brian's pursuits were by no means one dimensional. He enjoyed hunting and fishing with his father and a special group of lifelong friends from his hometown. Brian was preceded in death by his mother Francine Klug and is survived by his father Leslie (Sammy) Klug, sister Laura Taylor, nephews Shayne and Austin Taylor, Uncle and Aunt Frank and Pat Giumarra, several cousins and "Furever" friend Ruby. Bob Dylan once sang, "Ain't no use to sit and wonder why"; appropriate advice since there is no answer. The ache will eventually succumb to time, but the memories, thankfully, will not.
