CHARLES CHANEY Obituary


Charles W. Chaney, 81, New Smyrna Beach, FL passed away June 5, 2010. He was a retired construction superinten-dant and a seven year Navy Reservist. He enjoyed gardening, sports and was an avid Seminole fan. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 59 years, Patricia; daughters: Chrystal Harris of New Smyrna Beach , Tina Chaney Durrance of Edgewater; grandchildren: William Harris of Jacksonville, Melissa and Steven Howard of Jacksonville, Sarah Durrance of Washington, DC; and great- grandsons: Max and Dean. Private services were held by Hospice Southeast Volusia Hacienda Veterans. Baldwin Brothers Cremation Society, 1 North Causeway, New Smyrna Beach, FL is in charge of arrangements.

We were so fortunate to have Mr. Chaney for a neighbor. He was always looking out for us. Palmetto Street won't be the same. He will be missed.
