In loving memory, we celebrate the life of Connor Alexander Posea. He was taken from us on June 07, 2017. The family will receive friends from 6:00-7:00pm at the Funeral Home and please Join us to honor his memory at 7 pm on June 14, 2017 at Lankford Funeral home in DeLand, Florida. Connor was born on May 20, 1998 in Gainesville, GA to parents, David and Susan Posea. He had plans to begin college to pursue a career in pharmaceuticals. However, his experience in martial arts also sparked his passion to aspire to share his knowledge with the area youth. He was active in Goju style martial arts at the YMCA in DeLand as well as Kali weapons training and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsuat Daytona Beach martial arts.Connor is preceded in death by grandfather; Alton Eudohn Eubanks, grandmother; Wilonell Jones Eubanks, grandfather; Hubert Franklin Posea Jr, and uncle; Ronald Bruce Eubanks. Connor is survived by, parents; David and Susan Posea, brother Christian Posea and Bryan Oliver, grandmother; Sandra Hollingsworth Posea, uncles and aunts; Stephen and Deborah Stevers and Frank Posea, cousins; Brian and Shana LeDoux, Tyler and Shelby Stevers, Colleen, Shelby, and Kaili Posea. And, his two favorite girls, Marleigh LeDoux and Yuki. In addition to family, he is survived by several close friends; one in particular providing him with grace and joy. We will all miss his smile, his laughter, his quick wit, and his seemingly endless supply of "fun facts". In lieu of flowers, please donate in his honor to your local animal shelter or YMCA
