When I think back to the good old days, Gary was a huge part of it.Friday night car racing, the inlet, the river, hanging out in his parents backyard while he worked on a motor. Rob and Mel, you both were the love and joy of his life. He was a trusted, caring, faithful, friend through many years. I will miss him.
May God Bless his family and friends.

The Grubbs, family were one of first families that my Parents met when my Father moved us here from Tenn., over, 40 years ago. I have fond memories of all the Grubbs family, we spent many weekends with them., Freda and Bill were especially kind to my Father when he was here by himself, until he could move the rest of the family. Gary had a huge heart and I actually think that I had a crush on him growing up! My heart goes out to the whole family, please know that my prayers are with you all.

A very wise friend told me people come in to your life at different times for different reasons. Gary came in to my life and brought joy, laughter and love. He introduced me to my son's father and by doing that, gave me the greatest gift ever, my son. He truly was “the Best Man” and I treasure those memories. My sincere condolences and love to Freda and family.
