George Rousseau Obituary

George Joseph Rousseau, 83, passed away at home on Friday, June 13. A native of Montville, CT, Mr. Rousseau was a retired Supervisor for the Department of Corrections in Connecticut. He was a U.S. Army veteran who served in the Korean Conflict. George was preceded in death by his son James Rousseau and his sister, Anita Cody. He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his wife of 29 years, Joan Rousseau, sons, George Rousseau, Jr. and John Rousseau both of Port Orange, daughters, Jeannine Kline of DeLand and Mary Ann Webe of South Carolina, step son Ronald Welter of New Smyrna Beach, step daughter Deborah White of Deltona, sisters, Janet Childress of North Carolina, Mary Schuster of Connecticut, brother, Raymond Rousseau of Ozark, Alabama, seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren. He will be laid to rest with full military honors at Florida National Cemetery. You are invited to share your memories with the family at www.lankfordfuneralhome.com.
