Joan Clough Obituary

Joan M. Clough, 83, Edgewater, an unemployment claims supervisor for the New York State Department of Labor, Albany, NY for over 20 years before her retirement, died Tuesday, April 8, 2014. Joan was born in Albany and moved to Edgewater in 1989 from Knox, NY. She was a 1949 graduate of Albany Academy for Girls, attended Drive-In Christian Church, Daytona Beach Shores and enjoyed crafts, cooking and gardening. She is survived by her husband, Harry Hugh Osbun; one son, William (Betty) Clough of Knox; two daughters, Laurie Segel of Jacksonville and Julie Clough of Edgewater; three grandchildren, Nikki (Craig) Lehman, Kari (Tammy) Maunu, II and Michael (Ann) Petersen, Jr. and four great grandchildren, Brianna and Samantha Maunu, Rylee Lehman and Henrik Petersen. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Kenneth Clough and a brother, W. Gerald Pelton. Cremation will be by Dudley Crematory, New Smyrna Beach. Cremains burial will be in Albany Rural Cemetery, Albany, NY at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to Halifax Health Hospice of Volusia/Flagler, 3800 Woodbriar Trail, Port Orange, FL 32129.
