Christina Schmidt

My name is Christina Schmidt, John was the most loving dad in the world when I would do wrong as a child he would sit on my bed (at our home the only house on Daytona Beach 209 North Ocean avenue Daytona Beach Florida his family had the bath house for many years)and tell me Christina you're breaking my heart he never laid a hand on me but it would always make me cry because I let him down. He would never bring it up again because he knew that I would never repeat the same mistake because I didn't want to let him down! As a grandfather he loved my children so. He was there at their birth he was there at their baptisms he was there through all the ups and downs and as with me when he would talk to my children about what they did wrong it would break their hearts and they would cry. He would make cassettes for me and always took pictures at everything important in our lives!!! I miss him so much! I took him to every doctor appointment I took him to everything he needed(chemo therapy) I held his hand through it all. I took care of him along with my mama and hospice they taught me everything I needed to know to take care of him and keep him comfortable. We will never ever forget him and the love he had for life and all of us.We all loved and love him. Our whole family! John we miss you so dearly. And in Jesus name I pray that you are welcome by all of your loved ones that have gone before you. I am so grateful for having you in my life being blessed by you being there the man that you were and that you always will be God bless you and Jesus name amen.
