Joseph Beato Obituary
Joseph J. Beato, a NY transplant to Palm Coast went to be with the Lord on Dec. 11. Born in 1924 Joe was married to the love of his life Irene for seventy years and had two sons Joseph (deceased) and John. He was a true gentleman and devout Catholic who lived his faith always and he was a loving father, grandfather, uncle, cousin, friend and humble mentor to many. As a proud member of our Greatest Generation Joe served our nation in the Navy during World War II and as a radio specialist went ashore prior to the landings of our troops at the Normandy beaches on D-Day in order to set up "ship to shore" communication. Service: Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Elizabeth Ann Seaton Catholic Church, 4600 Belle Terre Pky., Palm Coast, FL on Mon., 12/19 at 11AM with viewing at the church at 10AM. In lieu of flowers, donations requested to Wounded Warriors, www.woundedwarriors.com
