Joseph Berno Obituary
Jr., 73, of DeBary, went to be for
ever with the Lord October 1,
2008 after a long illness. He
earned a bachelors degree in
business from Western Reserve
University and a Masters in
Christian Counseling from Ft.
Myers Bible Institute. He is sur
vived by Beverly Berno; and two
sons,: Mike of Houston, TX and
Tom of Austin, TX. Joe's infec
tious laughter was a joy to all
who knew him. His favorite jobs
were playing Santa Claus during
the holidays, being "Punkin" the
Clown at children's' birthday
parties and volunteering as a do
cent at the Central Florida Zoo.
Joe was a longtime member of
Fourtowns Community Church
serving as a Sunday School
teacher, and care group leader.
He was also proud of his service
to his country in the U.S. Army
Reserve. Private family services
will be held at a later date.
