Michael Leger Obituary

Michael R. Leger, 52, of Palm Coast, FL, passed away on Sunday, August 31, 2008 from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident.Michael was born on September 30, 1955 in Fitchburg, Mass, the son of Raymond and Pauline (Forest) Leger. Michael was employed at the R. A. Scott Construction Co. in Daytona Beach, FL as a transportation superintendent. Besides his parents, he is survived by two sons, Jason Leger of Phoenix, Arizona and Justin Leger of Tulsa, Oklahoma. He also leaves four sisters, Linda Winn of Derry, N.H., Kathy Chamberland of Ocala, FL, Sandra Padula and Susan Mitchell, both of Westminster, Mass.; three brothers, David, Robert and Timothy Leger, all of Fitchburg, Mass. He also leaves several nieces and nephews and his extended family. He will be missed by his family and friends. His wife, Linda (Soini) (Marois) Leger passed away in May of 2008. Michael will be laid to rest alongside Linda at The Forest Hill Cemetary in Fitchburg, Mass. A rememberance service will be held for Michael on Saturday, September 13, 2008 at 3 p.m. at The Tomoka United Methodist Church, 1000 OldTomoka Road, Ormond Beach.
