I remember the 1968 American Road Race of Champions well. Peter Consiglio running second in A/P near the end of that race, applied great pressure on the leading Corvette and went into the lead when that Corvette went wide in a turn. He held on to that lead and became the 1968 A/P National champion! A life and a race well driven!

I am shocked too hear that you have left this earth of ours. I will never forget you as my best friend Peter. We had lots of fun either racing or just playing around. Your laugh was contagious, I can hear it now!

I will remember you as one of my most dearest friends. A guy who put lots of trust in me with both cars and personal item's.

Happy Biking as I am sure that were you are there is a Jabra (FORD Powered XKE) and several Black Harly's. Pete, I will never forget the great times we had back in the old days. I am glad I was able to visit at your shop a few years ago...

It has been a long time since I have seen Peter. Life has taken us different ways but I will never forget our friendship and the great times we shared. Our partnership at Harco Harley-Davidson has influenced me in ways hard to express. Motorcycles are still a part of my life and I often think of the long rides we enjoyed on the back roads. Roberta and I will truly miss Peter and would like to send our sincere condolences to the Consiglio family.
Peter, I'm sure you will greet me on a V-Twin when we meet again.

We lived next door to Peter for about 2 years. I was a teenager and he was a "big bad biker". He always had a smile for me and my dad and when I married a "big bad biker" we visited his shop as a family often. He always had an answer and a hug, we will miss you Peter!!!!

As Best Man at Peter and Jan's Wedding, as a best friend growing up in Junior and Senior High School, working in the mailroom with Peter at Parker Metals and being the other teenage boy in the Consiglio home on Lake Ave. and at the Cape, I will miss my dear friend and the time we shared. To Jan, the kids, and the entire Consiglio Family, my deepest sympathy for your loss. Please know that because of what Peter and the family meant to me in those early years, I am with you in spirit during this very sad time.

Peter! A long time ago we used to race our XKE's at a weekend track in or around Worcester. One Thanksgiving weekend you came in first - no surprise there, as you always came in first - and won a frozen turkey! I came in second and got a trophy. You said that if you had known that, you would have come in second instead. We laughed about this for years. I will miss you.

Be Still

Be still like the grass on a melancholy summer day
Be still like desert shrub.

Be calm and you will hear your loved one speak, in the stillness, in the calm, their love resounds.

If you are still this promise I make, you will hear the voice of your loved one helping you along your way.

The first time I met Pete, he was in Halifax Hospital after a motorcycle crash. I went with my husband, who had met Pete through a freind and Pete had done work on our motorcycle. When we left the hospital my husband kissed Pete on the head. I thought that quiet unusual as my husband was not normally that demonstrative with freinds. I later got to know Pete and understood. Pete was a sweetheart. My husband is now quiet sad. Jan and family, if we can help in anyway just call. See you Saturday at the celabration of Pete's life. Tom and Sherry Evans sending our deepest condolances to the family of Pete.

Can you feel the wind in Heaven

Can you hear me call your name

Can you see the tears that fall

This world wont ever be the same

Can you feel the wind in Heaven

When we gather in our group

Can you hear the sound of silence

When we look where you once stood.

Can you feel the wind in Heaven

Can you hear the ladies cry

Can you feel our broken hearts

When we have to say goodbye

Can you feel the wind in Heaven

While the men hold back the tears

Leather clad and watery eyes

And know we’d rather have you here

I hope there is a Biker Heaven

And we will meet again someday

I hope to feel the wind in Heaven

And shake your hand again that day
