Robert R. Benincasa

1948 - 2017

Robert R. Benincasa, age 68, passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 15, 2017 at Florida Hospital Flagler in Palm Coast. He was born August 17, 1948, in Norwalk, CT to Carmine and Mary (Cocchia) Benincasa. He married Charlene Warner on September 5, 1970 in Bridgeport, CT. Robert & Charlene moved their family to Ormond Beach, Florida in 1981. He started his own distribution company in October 1991 named Daytona Converter. He had a mind for business and his life revolved around his family and the company. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Charlene, and children Monica Marvel, Robert E. Benincasa (wife Ayesha), David Benincasa (wife Kastaussia) and Aleisha Benincasa as well as 11 grandchildren. He is also survived by four sisters-in-law, a brother-in-law and many nieces and nephews. "Bobby" was a generous person, helping everyone he could. He was loved and respected by all who knew him. He will be missed by many. All those whose lives he touched are invited to a memorial service at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 801 Hand Ave., Ormond Beach, FL at 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 29, 2017 followed by a gathering to remember good times.
