Robert Lee Obituary

Robert E. Lee
10/09/1934 - 09/09/2018
Robert E. Lee, 83 years of age, passed away on September 9, 2018 with his loving wife, Nancy by his side. Robert (Bob) Lee was born in Camdenton, Missouri on October 9, 1934 to Frieda (Simpson) Lee and Audie C. Lee. Growing up, he lived in several states with his family before they settled in Daytona Beach, FL. He graduated from Mainland High School, then went on to the University of Florida earning a degree in Journalism. He then went into the Navy and served our country in the Naval Reserves for several years. This began a long love of flying airplanes, which he continued to do for many years after. He is preceded in death by his mother and father, daughter Debbie Calkins, son Jeffrey Lee, and son-in-law Leon Younk. He is survived by his wife Nancy, his children Linda Younk of DeLand, Robert Scott (Eileen) Lee of McKinney, Texas. Also surviving are two stepsons, Michael (Michele) Ciccarello of Altamonte Springs, FL, Mark (Lori) Ciccarello of New Smyrna Beach, FL, sister Nita Lee Elston, brother Tom Lee, and sister-in-law Barbara M. Lee. His grandchildren include Steven Lyndsay (Robert), Alex, Kelsey, Bryce, Sean, Caitlin, Bridget, and Brent, stepgrandchildren Jake, Jared, Justin, Nicholas, and Christian. He also has three great grandchildren: Abigail, R.J., and Elliot. Bob enjoyed flying airplanes, hiking, country music, reading, and watching the Florida Gators. Per Bob's wishes there will be no services. He wanted his ashes to be buried at sea. And so my love, my soulmate, rest in heavenly peace, until we meet again.

Sending Sympathy to the family of Bob Lee. I was so sorry to read of his passing. Although, I did not know his wife, I know his brother and sister. I am keeping all of you in my thoughts and prayers.

Dear Linda, I'm so sorry for your loss. I know you were there for your dad all the way and you loved each other so very much. He was your first love. God Bless!
