TIMOTHY DRURY Obituary

Timothy A. Drury, 60, of Edgewater, Chief Financial Officer and Senior Manager of Accounting at Bert Fish Medical Center, New Smyrna Beach, from 1999 until 2006, died Sunday, September 16, 2012 at his home. Mr. Drury was born in Avon Lake, Ohio and moved to Edgewater 13 years ago from Plant City. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam Conflict and also worked in senior management at medical centers in Plant City and Vero Beach. He was an avid reader and enjoyed all sports and working all kinds of puzzles. He loved his profession and was a true people person with a quick wit and ready smile. Survivors include his loving wife of 15 years, Joanne; and his combined family of seven children: Todd, Austin, Justin, Bill, Brian, Kathy and Neil; two brothers, Ed and Bill; one sister, Jan; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A private celebration of life will be scheduled by the family at a later date. Cremation will be by Dudley Crematory, New Smyrna Beach. Memorial donations may be made to Halifax Health Hospice of Volusia/Flagler, 3800 Woodbriar Trail, Port Orange, FL 32129.
