VICTORIA ACHESON Obituary

Victoria Acheson, 93, of Palm Coast, FL. passed away September 8, 2012. All services will be private. Arrangements are under the careful direction of Lohman Funeral Home Palm Coast. Victoria was born and raised in Maynard, Massachusetts. In 1946, Victoria married the love of her life W. George Acheson. Together they had two beautiful boys William Jr. and Richard. Victoria spent her younger years being a doting mother and housewife. She was also an avid bird watcher, enjoying many bird baths and bird houses around her home. She spent many years learning all the different bird calls. Victoria and George enjoyed traveling and visiting Florida. After the passing of George in 1998, Victoria's stays in Florida became longer until she moved here in 2008. Here she enjoyed a quiet life doing crossword puzzles, playing cards, or just sitting and enjoying the birds. Her zest for life will be remembered by all that knew her. Victoria was preceded in death in 1998 after 53 years of marriage by her beloved husband George; as well as brothers Walter, Willard, Bobby, Raymond and Junie; and sisters Dolly, Ruthie and Jeannette. She is survived by her sons William G. Acheson Jr. of Palm Coast and Richard Acheson and his wife Corinne of Palm Coast; brother Don Reynolds and his wife Evelyn of Colorado; and sister Dorothy George of Massachusetts. Victoria was also the loving grandmother of her two grand-dogs Brandy and Dasha. Donations in Victoria's name may be made to Stuart Meyer Hospice House, 150 Memorial Medical Pkwy, Palm Coast, FL 32164-5997.
