Corey W. Kesner

Corey Wayne Kesner, a resident of Springfield, Missouri was born October 2, 1984 in Berryville, Arkansas, a son of Robert Gene Wingate and Kimberly L. Kesner. He departed this life Friday, February 5, 2016 in Springfield, Missouri, at the age of 31 years.

Corey was a Christian and had the unique distinction of being baptized in Russia at the age of 10 years old. Corey graduated from Blue Eye High School and was a graduate of the Tulsa Welding School. He really enjoyed listening to music, working out in the gym and basketball. He also enjoyed cooking for his family, but mostly he loved spending his time with his family.

Corey is survived by his son, Nicholas Wayne Kesner, mother, Kimberly L. Kesner, and sister, Nadia Diane Woods of Springfield, Missouri. He is also survived by his father, Robert Gene Wingate and wife, Jackie of Tulsa, Oklahoma; grandmother, Elizabeth Pequano of Kingston, Oklahoma and a host of other family, friends, and loved ones.

Corey is preceded in death by his grandparents, Charles and Geraldine (Wright) Kesner and great-grandparents, Vasco and Lucille Wright, all of Berryville, Arkansas.

Celebration of Life service will be at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, February 16, 2016 at the Charles M. Nelson Memorial Chapel, Berryville, Arkansas, with Mr. Stanley Stevens officiating.
