Fordland - Fred Leroy Vines, 85, Fordland, passed away on Wednesday, December 11, 2019.
A memorial service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, December 15, 2019 at Diggins Baptist Church in Diggins.
A private graveside service, with full military honors, will be held at West Finley Cemetery, Fordland at a later date.

Fred was without a doubt the kind of man we should all strive to be like. Kind, honest, hard working, and a great example. His legacy of a great family is proof of that. Sorry for your loss guys. I can't even put myself in your shoes but I know it will hurt to miss him like you will. I also know your faith and the comfort that comes from knowing his love for God and his salvation.
God uses us here as examples for others and Fred was truly a great one.
