Got to know George while working at A/G HQ, as my editor when I wrote Bible Quiz questions, and more. Surprised to learn today he's gone. He indeed impacted young lives with his long-time commitment to BQ. I remember when he took us to see Victor Borge too. A life committed to the Word of God is a life well lived. My greetings and condolences to the family.

George Edgerly was a true man of God. I appreciated him and his family so much. He was an inspiration in so many ways and close to our family. God bless you Waydene and family. I wish I could have come to the service in Iowa, but my schedule didn't make time for it. We're starting to get a glimpse of heaven as we say good-bye to our dear ones.
Blessings forever,

So many things come to my mind when I think of Brother George. Friend, he and his precious wife Waydene were two of our very first friends when we moved to Springfield, MO in 1986. Bible Quiz, two of our children were blessed to be on the Jr. Bible Quiz team and helped George occasionally make Bible Quiz cards in his garage. Gods word was forever implanted in their hearts. Cinnamon rolls. No one could ever make them like he did. They were melt in your mouth delicious! And last his beautiful dishes he loved to collect. Every time I go into an antique store or flea market I'll see a particular dish and think fondly of George. But the most outstanding thing I will always remember about him is that Brother George Edgerly was a man of God.
He will be deeply missed but his testimony on how he lived his life will be forever in our hearts.
Our love and sympathy to Waydene and all the family.
