I keep a photo of Guido and myself as a "favorite" on my digital camera. Guido was such a dear man; he was so kind and so generous, and such a distinct and forceful personality, I will never forget him. I wish I could have seen him one last time; he will always have a place in my heart, my Italian papa.

I did not have the honor to meet Dr. Podrecca until his 89th year. My life was greater for having met him and spend some time in his home with Carlo and many from his large loving family. Guido was still a sweet, charming, loving man to the very end. My love and prayers are with his entire family. May they find joy in the knowledge to know that in his passing we can celebrate the end of a very long and productive life.
