Jack Gorden Obituary
Jack Gorden, 84, of Springfield, passed away October 9, 2014 following a short illness.
He was born October 14, 1929 in Oxnard, California. He served in the US Navy from 1947 to 1951. Jack was a long time employee of Missouri Mill Store and Dillon's. He was a member of Schweitzer Church.
Jack is survived by his wife Deanna of 49 years, 3 children, Mike Gorden, Debbie Dunlop and husband Jerry and Brenda Gorden and 4 grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, Oct 14 from 11:30 to 12:30 at Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home. Graveside services will follow at 1:00 pm at Missouri Veteran's Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Mercy Hospice, 1570 W Battlefield, Suite 110, Springfield, MO 65807 or the Humane Society of Southwest Missouri, 3161 W. Norton Rd, Springfield, MO 65803.
