Jimmy Reynolds Obituary

Jimmy Dale Reynolds

Jimmy Dale Reynolds was a native of Springfield, MO. He passed away in Lipan, TX, on Oct.22, 2020, after a brief illness.

Jim graduated with honors from Parkview High School and attended Drury College before transferring to Southern Methodist University and graduating from there in 1965 with double Engineering degrees. He established his own business, Assured Assistance, in Dallas, TX, with his son Lance. He retired to Lake Chapala, Mexico, and lived there happily for ten years before his death.

Jim was a beloved son, brother, dad and friend, and was admired and respected by those near and dear to him throughout his life. He was loving, kind, honorable, trustworthy, loyal, brave, generous to a fault and was held in highest esteem by us who were lucky enough to share his life.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Thayer & Bernice Reynolds, his sons, Lance Wayne and Trent Derrick Reynolds, and twin sisters Marlene & Darlene Reynolds, who died in infancy.

He is survived by his sister Brenda Gifford, her husband Charles, his niece Jennifer Stoecker, her husband Rob, his great-nephew Jake, and many other relatives and friends.

He was followed in death recently by his "rock" and love, Liz Gallaway.

Very special thanks and heartfelt appreciation to Liz's family, Jennifer and Nelson Ogle of Lipan, TX, who provided loving care of Jim in his final days.
