Joan Claxton Obituary

Joan Mae Claxton

Joan Mae Claxton died November 16, 2012, at the age of 77. Joan was born in Springfield, MO on October 7, 1935.

She was preceded in death by her husband John Claxton, parents Richard and Mildred Crinklaw; brother Will Crinklaw and a sister Patricia Gannon.

Surviving is her daughter Susan and her husband Clint Evans, son William and wife Elaine Bishop, brother Richard and wife Betty Clinklaw, sister Rose Marie and husband Ronald Cutter, 3 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren; with nieces and nephews and their families, as well as her friends.

Graveside services will be at 2:00 P.M. Monday, November 26, 2012 in Springfield National Cemetery where she will be laid to rest by her husband. Arrangements are under the care of Greenlawn Funeral Home East.

Joan was an awesome lady with a wonderful outlook on life. I truly enjoyed the time I got to spend with her.
