I did not know about this until today. I was watching a pigeon video on YouTube and wondered what ever happened to John Enke . He helped me train our pigeons on his training truck. Those were some of the best memories of my childhood, 1977 1981. We flew pigeons in the Bellflower racing pigeon club and had a great time with all of the club members. Now here I am at 56 years old hoping to get into the pigeon sport again. That was a special time in life for me and ny brothers, Dad too. I am sure John is up there in heaven trying to race the bird of peace! Miss you and your friendship.

John was my good friend, my mentor, and my "adopted" father. Always enjoyed the hospitality at Johns house and our discussions and debates, politics and pigeons and many subjects.
John was a man of integrity he will be truly missed, he was a big part of my life for 48 years.
Rest In Peace Friend.

He was very nice man, very caring. John was my uncle and I loved him very much.
