Nancy Ann Rose Lent

Nancy Ann Rose Lent, 83, passed away on Sunday, January 15, 2017. She moved to Nixa in 1998 and lived at Ozark Riverview Manor since 2013. Born in Manhattan, New York, in 1933 to Frank and Ann Rose, Nancy lived in New York, Arkansas, Missouri, Illinois, Oklahoma, Oregon, Kansas, and Florida. She made friends in every state she lived in for her sense of humor, outstanding confectionary skills, and her compassion for and connection with children and the elderly. Nancy worked as a teacher's aide in the learning and behavioral disability classrooms for the Kansas Public School District for many years, among other jobs.

Nancy was married to John Lent, who died in 1999, for 40 years. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother William. She is survived by her daughter, four siblings, and innumerable and much-loved nieces and nephews.

The memorial service will be held Saturday, January 21 at 4pm at the Union Hill Church of Christ, 865 N. Nicholas Road, Nixa, MO.
