Ruby Moore Obituary

Ruby Virginia (Langley) Moore, 95, Hurley, was born May 27, 1914 to Emmitt and Myrtle Mae (Leath) Langley in Stone County, Missouri and departed this life December 19, 2009, in the Ozark Mountain Regional Healthcare in Crane, Mo., where she had been a resident for 7 ½ years. She was married to Van Moore and five children were born to this union. She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; a daughter, Gayle Dean; three brothers, Gordon, Curt, and Raymond Langley; two sisters-in-law, Betty Langley and Beulah Langley. Survivors include three daughters, Sue Mendenhall (Jim) Texas, Nancy Israel (Leo), Clever, and Judy McGinnis (Bud), Hurley; one son, Dale Moore (Penny) Crane; a sister-in-law, Betty Todd, California; 10 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Monday, December 21, 2009 in Meadors Funeral Home, Clever, with Pastor Kevin Baker officiating. Burial will follow in Wright Cemetery south of Clever. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Memorials are suggested to Wright Cemetery. Online condolences may be made at www.meadors funeralhome.com

She was my great grandmother, very sweet, caring, beautiful, and amazing. I dont remeber much about her but I know she'd do anything for anyone in a heartbeat, even though shes passed on I'll never forget her sweetness. She passed on when I was a few months old. Her death was the hardest in the family, we miss and love her very deeply❤
