The Reverend Drexel Mollison of Ft. Myers passed away at Hope Hospice on September 30th. He leaves his wife, Kathleen, a daughter, Mrs. Sylvia Herring (Stephen), a son, Karl Mollison (Bonnie), three grandsons, Nate, Nick, and Dan and one great-grandson, Max.
Pastor Mollison served churches in Iowa, Illinois, and Oklahoma, retiring as Pastor of First Community Congregational Church of Lehigh Acres, Florida.
Many townspeople remember Pastor Mollison riding his bike on his daily rounds to and from the hospital. The Mollisons became friends with any people in the area because of their many musical programs.
Memorials may be made to Hope Hospice or the Lehigh Church.
