Anne Jung Obituary

Obituary

Mrs. Anne Marie Jung of Punta Gorda, FL was called home to be with the Lord on July 16, 2008 at age 74, surrounded by her family. Our Mother was born in Augsburg, Germany on Dec. 4, 1933. She met and fell in love with our wonderful father George Jung, they were married in 1952 and moved to the U.S. where they raised 7 children.

Mom was a blessing to everyone that knew her. So much of her will be missed from her love of dancing, her great cooking; her smile, laughter and most of all her love, she showed us everyday in every way. Mom, you did not go alone, for a part of your children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren went with you the day you left to be with God.

Mrs. Anne Marie Jung leaves behind to treasure her memory her husband of 56 years George J. Jung; daughters, Judi (Bob) Speer, Fort Myers, FL, Angelika (Steve) Tillery, Naples, Diana (Rick) McClam Cape Coral, Marina (Denny) Rice Lancaster, PA; sons George Jung Jr., Norton, MA, John Jung, Attleboro, MA, Robert Jung, Punta Gorda; 19 grandchildren who loved their Oma so very much, 5 great-grandchildren and many many friends who loved and cherished her also.

A Memorial Mass will be held at 12 Noon Saturday July 26, 2008 at Sacred Heart Church, Punta Gorda, FL.
