Obituary
Anthony Accardo, of Ft. Myers, formerly of Linden, NJ died March 1, 2002. He was born in Linden, NJ and moved here in 1998.
He was a Police Officer with the City of Linden Police Department for 29 years before retiring in 1997. While on the Police Department, he served as a Juvenile Officer, Training Officer and Hostage Negotiator. He served as President of the Union County Juvenile Officers Association, President of Linden P.B.A., Officer in the NJ Child Abuse Counselor's Association. He was an elected member of the Linden Board of Education and a member of the Union County Narcotics Board. His days after retirement were devoted to being a full time Dad to his twin 8 year old boys. He is survived by his wife, Mary, sons, Nicholas and Joseph, his sister, Annette 'Bunny' Kwiatkowski, and his niece, Tina Kwiatkowski.
Service will be held Tuesday, March 5, 2002 at 11:00 AM at the Church of th Resurrection in Ft. Myers. Family and friends are invited to attend.
