Obituary
Derek Sibert, 30 of Fort Myers died Wednesday, May 6, 2009 at the M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, TX. A graduate of Estero High School, he loved riding his motorcycle and spending time with family and friends.
Surviving are his wife, Emily, daughters, Natalie and Ashlie, his mother Virginia Sibert, brothers, Shane and Reuben Sibert, sister, April Logan, and his father-in-law and mother-in-law Bob and Sara Sweesy. He was preceded in death by his father Albert Sibert.
A celebration of Derek's life will be held Tuesday, May 12 at 6:30 PM at the Riverside Church, 8660 Daniels Parkway, Fort Myers. The family will receive friends at the church on Tuesday from 4:30 PM until service time.

Dear All Sibert Family,
We at Florida Cancer Specialist are so sadden by loss of Derek. He was truely a remarkable young man and one of the biggest fighters we have ever seen.
