Donald Tanger Obituary
Obituary
Donald Lee Tanger, age 71, of Ft. Myers, FL and Rittman, OH, died Tuesday August 23, 2005 at North Collier Hospital in Naples, FL. He was born March 29, 1934 in Hanover, OH to Rene and Margaret (Fissel) Tanger. Donald was an avid golfer and animal lover.
He is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Ginger (McCurry) Tanger, three daughters, Deborah L. (husband Donald) Burnett of Estero, FL, Dawn L. Tanger of Gettysburg, PA and Delinda L. Tanger of Toledo, OH, a brother, Gene (wife Winnie) Tanger of Mishawaka, IN, a sister, Brenda (Burnell Humbert) Megonnell of New Oxford, PA, five grandchildren and one great grandchild.
There will be a memorial service to celebrate Donald's life on September 5, 2005 at 2:00 PM at the home of Brenda Megonnell & Burnell Humbert, 1145 Dicks Dam Rd., New Oxford, PA, 17350.
Donald has proudly donated his body to medical science. The family has requested memorial donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN, 38105. Walter Shikany's Bonita Funeral Home assisted the family with the arrangements. Walter Shikany's
