Obituary
Evelyn Irene Behnke, 92, formerly of Fort Myers passed away March 23, 2007 at Concordia Care Center in Bella Vista, Arkansas. She was born January 19, 1915, in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Charles John Bratz and Bertha Catherine Watruba Bratz.
She was a waitress and a member of the Fort Myers United Church of Christ, Order of the Eastern Star, Post Matron and the Daughters of the Nile.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Myron Behnke.
She is survived by her daughter, Myrna L. Tews of Bella Vista; four grandsons, Bruce Alan Cooper, Todd William Cooper and Erich Donald Tews; one granddaughter, Nancy Dawn Carpenter; and 10 great-grandchildren.
A funeral service celebrating her life will be conducted in the Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home on Wednesday at 1 PM. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12-1 PM. Interment will follow at Gulf Pines Memorial Park, Englewood.
