A big personality. His students will miss dreadfully as will Cello. They were so good together.
Best regards

Gale Bennett was a valued friend for many years. In the early years, he conducted classes in my studio. He always had something good to say about everyone's work. He was generous with his time and talent. Thank you, Gale.

I am not sure what sort of opportunities will exist in the formal tributes to Gale in the coming weeks. My rememberances and impressions of him over the years have been of a well-rounded gentleman...I think he would like that. A man whose company I enjoyed on numerous occasions at the Veranda with our wives. He could be a connasuere of fine wine and table d' hote one minute and just another guy enjoying the piano styling of Lila Moore the next. Now sadly both are gone... a loss to us all.

I remember him as a fine artist, he spoke to me about my work, and how much he loved is family. It was many years ago, and i was so young then, had no idea how important of and artist he was, and was blessed to have spoken to him.

He was once called a "Renaissance Man", enthusiastic about art, music and life. He shared that enthusiasm and knowledge with all who inquired. For that I am grateful.
