Too many memories to share. Going AWOL to go to Harvard Yale game, Toga party, Deer Hunting, Fly Fishing, Ski Trip were I slept in the in the unheated attic and had ice crystals in the scotch bottle at the foot of my head, and great parties. Great friend and I never heard him say anything bad about anyone!!

I think about John all the time. He helped me in so many ways. I regret that I had not remained in contact with him. He was always a gentleman.
I often drive by the past location of The Little King restaurant in chicago.
Our days at Wells/Benrus Jewelry were interesting. Miss you John!!

I have great memories of a great friend. He was always helpful to everyone. We had great times together. Teenage years were a hoot. I still remember going into the army together. Fort Doc was not a great place to be during the vietnam era. We went AWOL together to go to the Harvard Yale game!! Almost got caught!He hired me to work for Wells Jewelry, and was always a loyal friend. I enjoyed our fishing and hunting adventures. Unfortunately I didn't know where he went after Utica so I lost touch with him. My condolences to you Robbie and your entire family. If there is anything I can do, please contact me. Fond memories of New Hartford days with John as the ring leader of our teen age years. I would not have my two daughters and grandchildren if John had not found their Dad for me. Lots of love and prayers for Robbie and family.

So sorry to hear about John's death. He was instrumental in leading the expansion project of the Stanley Theatre while he was on the board of directors of the Central NY Community Arts Council. It was a pleasure to work with him. He was demanding of staff, but most supportive of all of us. He helped the organization grow while providing needed counsel. He was a true gentleman in every sense of the word, and it was a privilege to know him.

My thoughts are with the family during this difficult time. I hope that the promise in 1 Thessalonians 4:14 can bring comfort. Knowing that there is a hope for our love ones lost in death can be reassuring.
