Dear JK and Family,

I am so very sad about the news of our precious Kappy. She was my special froend of 75 years; we met as 1st graders at Christ the King School in Buckhead oh so many years ago. She gave me the honor of being Allen's godmother and she was my daughter's godmother as well. She fought the good fight valiantly and has now finished the race in the arms of Jesus. Her Homegoing must have been quite a spectacle!

My heart aches for you, JK, and for your whole family. How blessed we all were, family and friends, to have share time with her. Please give my love to Allen and Diana...and to all.

Dear John, You and sweet Kappy touched our lives when you came to China and we shopped at the Silk Market. Then we were treated to a wonderful steak dinner at your hotel. I had also met you two at Elizabeth Cowen's before your China trip. Kappy was such an inspiration to me and Frank. Frank died of pancreatic cancer on Oct 18, 2013, so I know what you are going through. My sincerest sympathy is with you through these difficult days. I am sure your faith, family, and close friends will be a great comfort to you during your time of grief. May God be glorified in her passing as He was in her life.

Kappy was a great woman, she not only cared for her family, but treated friends as family as well. I can't begin to express how much she has done for me personally, but she was selfless if it came down to it. She created and founded a hope house to help others, and was a very faithful individual, she executed what she preached and believed in. I honestly enjoyed knowing her and was blessed to be in her life. She will live on in our memories, I will be sure to teach my kids about who she was and how caring she was to us.

Our condolences to Kappy's family. We have loved having Kappy as our neighbor! We have enjoyed some get togethers at her home over the years! I've never seen Kappy without a smile on her face! She was always so kind to us including always letting us fish on her dock. We will truly miss her

There was no one else I know who exemplified kindness, endless charity, devotion to her husband and family, thoughtfulness, a patient demeanor, than Kappy King. Whenever I was in her company, I was always amazed at just how generous, kind and charitable she was. She worked tirelessly for the success HOPE Clubhouse of Southwest Florida, Inc., in Fort Myers, and was totally committed to helping those who deal with serious mental illness find understanding, friendship, self esteem, and dignity. Kappy will be greatly missed, and never forgotten, and I feel blessed to have called her my friend.
