Layla, I never met you but your story is personal to me and everyone in the community. Send sunshine and smiles to your family as they warm their hearts with wonderful memories of you.
Our deepest sentiments and sympathy go to Layla's family and friends during this difficult time. Our local nonprofit, Streets Alive of SWFL alongside other local organizations, will be holding a walk of Silence in Cape Coral on May 15th around 6 pm in memory of Layla.

I only know of your story from the news. But I do understand the grief in your heart, for I have been thru the same. Loosing a daughter a child. Is the hardest burden a heart can carry. I will pray for your family. That God will hold her tightly in his arms.

Words are not enough- please Layla smile down on your family as they struggle with only memories of you- warm their hearts with the rays of the sun fill their hearts with the colors of the rainbow and wipe their tears with the gentle breezes- The Lord will take you in his arms until you meet your family again
