LEROY FOSE Obituary

Leroy Norman Fose, known to his friends and family as "Lee", was received into the loving arms of Christ July 25th, 2011. Born September 18th, 1930, Lee was a lover of music all of his life and was active in Barbershop singing for 20 years, as well as singing bass in various church choirs over the years. First diagnosed with cancer in his late 40's, Lee recovered and went on to serve others by becoming founder and 1st President of the Ostomy Association of Niagara County, NY. He also served as a Volunteer Fire Fighter in Pekin, NY and was a veteran of the Korean War.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Lois and sister Annette Gaze (Len).; 4 children, Ruth Castagner (Robert), Norman Fose (Anna), Larry Fose (Marjorie), and Trish Van Buskirk (Ray); 6 grandchildren, Justin Castagner, Melissa Castagner (Marco), Aaron Fose, Joshua Fose, Christopher Van Buskirk and Kimberly Fose; and his great grandchild, Anthony Castagner.
He is remembered by all for his sense of humor and as a loving husband, father, grandfather, and Greatgrandfather. A celebration of his life will be held Friday, August 5th at 1:00pm at Faith United Methodist Church at 15690 McGregor Blvd., Ft. Myers. In lieu of flowers, family requests that donations be made to Faith United Methodist Sanctuary Choir.
