Nicholas Bailey Obituary

Nicholas Paul Bailey

May 3, 2017

Nicholas Paul Bailey passed on May 3rd, 2017 in Breckenridge, Colorado.

He was born on August 19th, 1996 in Fort Myers, Florida.

Nicholas was a Fort Myers High School Alumni, Class of 2013. Nicholas always had a love for flying; his proudest moment was his first "solo" flight after graduation. He then went on to obtain his private pilot's license at the age of 17. He studied aviation at Utah Valley University and graduated in 2015.

Nicholas was a business entrepreneur, owning his own company selling merchandise on major websites such as Amazon. He was the founder of Boots & Beyond, a non-profit organization aiding those in need of footwear around the world. He had such a big heart that he would always give so much of himself so that he could help those less fortunate and in need. Apart from his many accomplishments, in his free time he was an avid snowboarder. He loved being outdoors among the mountains, with all of the beauty and serenity it offered.

Nicholas is survived by his parents Michael and Deborah Bailey as well as his brother Zachary Bailey. He also leaves his maternal grandparents, Paul and Rosemary Woltmann, of Coram, New York; and his paternal grandfather, John Bailey of Hartwell, Georgia. He is also survived by his several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Nicholas was cremated as he wished. A memorial service is being held on Thursday June 8th, 2017 at 6:30 PM at Fort Myers Evangelical Free Church - 6798 Plantation Pines Blvd. Fort Myers, FL, 33966. In lieu of flowers, Nicholas' family would be honored to receive donations to Building Hope at P.O. Box 4000, Breckenridge, CO 80424 to help raise awareness for mental health.

Nicholas will be greatly missed by everyone that knew him; he was the kind of young man that anyone would be proud to call son, grandson, brother, and friend. His family asks for prayers for Nicholas, so that he may find the peace he was seeking throughout his life and now through his eternal rest.

Nick was a great team player. He was one of the best players that I coached during our short time together. I always remembered his aggressive playing style, all with a smile on his face. God speed Nick.
