Obituary

Richard Cullen 'Bud' Brannen, 74, of Fort Myers, passed away April 1, 2000. He was a native of Fort Myers and employed for 33 years as branch manager of Sealtest Dairy of Fort Myers. Mr. Brannen served in the U.S. Army in WII in the Aleutian Islands of Alaska.

He was preceded in death by his beloved son, Richard Cullen Brannen, Jr., and is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Bessie Brannen of Fort Myers; two daughters, Carmen Brannen and son-in-law Joseph Healy of Sanibel, and Mavis Pacetti (Brannen) of Fort Myers; son, Reed Kipling and daughter-in-law Patti of Fort Myers; brother, Malcom Brannen of Savannah, GA; sister, Agnes (Sug) Rockenhaus of Fort Myers; and three grandchildren, Erica Pacetti, Taryn Pacetti and Aubrey Brannen.

Graveside dedication will be conducted Tuesday, April 4, at 2:00 p.m. at Fort Myers Cemetery.

The passions of Bud's life were his love of Bessie, his children, grandchildren, the mountains of North Carolina, the Florida Everglades and his trees.

Arrangements by Harvey-Engelhardt-Metz Funeral Home, 1600 Colonial Blvd., Fort Myers.

Immediately following the dedication, the family will be receiving friends and family at Carmen and Joe's home on Sanibel Island.
