Richard Clausen Obituary

Richard Louis Clausen, 83, of Fort Myers, Florida passed away on March 9, 2014 at Health Park Medical Center. He was born in New York City, NY to the late Andrew and Margaret (Zwart) Clausen. Richard had been a resident of Fort Myers since 1977, having come from his previous home in Adirondacks, New York. He was very well known in the construction industry, having supervised building projects in both New York and around Fort Myers. He supervised the construction of the Faith Assembly of God Church, where he was also a member.
Richard will be dearly missed by his loving wife, Violet Clausen; daughter, Donna (Eric) Mindrebo; daughter, Dale (Clark) Hults; daughter, Debra (the late James) Kridle; and son, Richard D. (Melinda) Clausen; as well as brothers, Andrew Clausen and Robert Clausen; 15 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
A visitation will be held at the Faith Assembly of God Church on Saturday, March 15, 2014 from 10AM until 11AM. The funeral service will begin in the church at 11AM. Private Interment will take place at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Teen Challenge ELC @ 267 Leadership Lane, Jesup, GA 31545 or Young Life @ 5264 Clayton Ct. Ste 5, Fort Myers, FL 33907

Dick Clausen was a Godly Christian man, whom I worked for in the Construction trade, while living in Fort Myers, FL. Im sorry for your loss, but heaven has gained a precious man of God.... and we shall all see him, again. PRAYING for you all. , and Love you all... Clausen Family you are and have been always like family to me, May God Bless each of you and give you added strength, help and comfort during this time of your lives.
