Obituary
Robert F. 'Sparkplug' Eyer, 94, of Cape Coral died Monday November 5th, 2001. He was born in Manhattan, KS. October 20, 1907. He graduated from N. Western University's School of Electrical Engineering and worked for Common Wealth Edison in Chicago for 43 years. Robert moved to Cape Coral in 1972 from Geneva, IL. He was a member of the Cape Coral First United Methodist Church, The Rotary Club of Cape Coral, Cape Coral Engineer Club, life time member of the American Legion Post # 90 and the I.E.E.E.
Survivors include his wife of 67 years Phyllis. One daughter Patricia (Ralph) Crane, Franklin, NC. Three grandchildren; Wendy Daleiden, Cape Coral, Angie Daleiden, Wheaton, IL. and Ryan Crane, Naples, FL.
A memorial service will be conducted at 7:00 PM Friday, November 9th, 2001 at the Metz Funeral Chapel.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Hope Hospice.
