Walter Matuza Obituary
Obituary
Walter Anthony Matuza died November 2, 2006 after a sudden illness while on vacation in Columbia, South America with his wife Sofia. He was 53 at the time of his death. Walter and Sofia lived in Key Largo.
He was born on Long Island, New York and grew up in Hicksville where he attended high school. He was a member of the Teamasters drove a steel mill truck for many years. He moved to Bonita Springs in 1992 where he was a partner of Personal Touch Lawncare. Some of Walter's friends knew him as Chip.
Besides his wife, he is survived by his son Wade Matuza of New York, his father Walter H. Matuza of Whiting, New Jersey, sisters Diane Anderson of Bonita Springs, Joanne Conover of Naples, Anielia Ellers of Winter Park, Florida, a brother Frank Matuza of Bonita Springs and several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his mother Marie V. Matuza, his brother Christopher J. Matuza and his business partner Dail Temple.
Funeral arrangements are pending.
